Ada was born to Chase & Millie Bechtel Sears.
She married Edward J. Toon on May 7, 1936 and they had one daughter. Helen F. Toon Johnson.
Ada had one brother, Leo Sears and one twin sister Edith C. Toon Scott. She had three grandchildren: Eddie Johnson, Julie Johnson and Pam Schueler. She also had two agreat-grandchildren: Marley and Reed Schueler.
Ada and her sister were together practically all the time. Their favorite hangout was the Odon Cafe.
Everytime I went back to Odon, there they would be. It won't be the same.
Ada retired in 1975 from Crane Naval Ammunition Depot, Crane Indiana. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge of Odon, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Ada will be missed by all that knew her. Everybody loved the twins.
