Daughter of Jacob M. Yeager and Elizabeth [Weaver] Yeager. Brought to Lafayette, Indiana with parents c.1866. Oldest of nine siblings, the rest who were born in Indiana. Married Otto Alexander Prass on 20 October 1886 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Moved to Danville, Illinois soon after, where her three children were born, then Dayton, Ohio in the 1890s before returning to Lafayette by 1900. Moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1908.
