Frank is the son of Vaclav "Wenzel) Waniata and Frantiseka (Fannie" (Kratochvilova) Waniata. His parents and 5 of his older siblings came to America on the ship the Patria, which sailed from Bremen, Germany, landing in NYC, New York on Jan 14, 1854. Wenzel was from Malcice, Pisek, and Fannie was from Mirotice, Pisek, where his parents were married. Frank married about 1877 in Cook Co., Frances Libis. Frances was born in 1859 in Bohemia and died in Cook Co. in 1928. You can see some of the names of their children on their gravestone who are also buried there.
My research found that Frances Libis' sister, Carrie married a Mr. Bohe. Mr. and Carrie Bohe had a daughter Emilie, who married John Monterman(the names listed at the bottom of this stone. I was in this cemetery in the late 1980's and personally took this picture. These graves are located very near the entrance of this old cemetery. Steve M Hall
