Rebecca Dana, listed with different birth dates and death dates on family records and Ogden City Cemetery Death Records is a daughter of Mary Ann Cato and Charles Root Dana - the location of her grave is near her father, A-4-34-5W.

However, Ogden City Cemetery Death Record also lists a Rebecca Dana, born August 21 1864 and died January 21, 1878 buried in A-2-39-3W2, near Hulda Dana, the infant daughter of another wife.

This researcher believes the earliest birth & death date to be correct, with the later perhaps being christening & "probable" burial date; but, the two locations recorded by the cemetery is a puzzel. There is no stone at the A-2-39-3W2 location.

Perhaps a photo request will reveal a stone & dates at the A-4-34-5W location.

UPDATE: April 4, 2012 - Thanks to Linda Madsen O'Driscoll (linzkids), the mystery is solved - a stone near Rebecca's father's location revealed the young daughter's location and vital information.

The gravestone photographed does not appear to be of the death period, but hopefully accurate. At least the location is confirmed after the messy cemetery recording - those old pioneers had too much grief at that time to record all the tragic events. Thanks again, Linda!
