Apparently this man had an eventful background - per suggested comments: "He was shot to death by his former wife and her brother in the streets of Snyder, Texas in a conflict over his two daughters. Was the beginning of the blood feud between the Sims Ranching Family of Garza County and the Johnson Ranching Family of Scurry County. Ed had been married to Gladys Johnson. The charges against his ex wife were dropped and the case against his former brother-in-law was also dropped."

Note comments in the flower token area about a book on his life. "His life and death are written about in the book, "The Johnson-Sims Feud" by Bill O'Neal."
