Dennis died unexpectedly Friday.
He was the son of William and Evelyn Shuler MacDonald.

Dennis was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School.
He had worked as a Masonry Laborer, was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, and the Happy Hunters Club.

Dennis had enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an all around handyman.
Mostly he was always willing to help a friend who was in need.

Surviving are his wife, Cindy L. (Shay) MacDonald, whom he married June 16, 1978; three children: Robert MacDonald, and his wife Tara of Fenelton; Kelly MacDonald, and her fiancé Tom Patterson of Fenelton; Susan MacDonald, and her fiancé Jeremy Warner of Fenelton. six grandchildren: Ethan, Jimmy, Hunter, Ryleigh, Addison, Aubreigh, and one grandchild expected in August of this year.
Dennis is also survivrd by his mother, two brothers: David and Kathy MacDonald of Butler; Gary L. and Debbie MacDonald of Fenelton; one sister, Julie and Michael Wylie of Saxonburg, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, William MacDonald.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.
Internment will follow in St. John's Parish Cemetery.
