Edna R. Ormiston, age 88, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1977, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2007. Edna was born on March 14, 1918, the daughter of John D. and Madeline Markel Aipperspach in Wishek, ND. Edna had been the owner/operator of a fast food drive-in before retiring. Edna loved quilting, any one who has one of her quilts, has a wonderful piece of memory. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, George and daughter, Cherlyn. Edna is survived by five children, Shari Misbach and her husband, Richard of Rio Rancho, Ellen Weber and her husband, Thomas Lipinski of Rio Rancho, George Ormiston and his wife, Karen of Hettinger, ND, Glen Ormiston of Hayden, ID and Gary Ormiston and his wife, Sherry of Menomonee Falls, WI, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one brother, Robert Aipperspach and one sister, Anna Patterson. The Service for Edna will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rich Misbach, Tom Lipinski, Chad Misbach and Bryan Misbach.
