Harold Holderfield, 93, Bradenton, died April 6, 2003. He was born Dec. 24, 1909, in Trimble County, Ky, and came to Bradenton in 1968 from Louisville, Ky. He retired after 25 years as maintenance and construction supervisor for the Federal Bureau of Prison Systems.
He was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel and a member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge No. 865 in Louisville. He was a member or the First Christian Church of Bradenton. Survivors include his wife, Helena; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 3-4pm Wednesday, with a service to follow, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, Ky. Memorial donations may be made to Alterra Clare Bridge, 6101 Pointe West Blvd., Bradenton, FL.
