He was born January 29, 1936 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Morrison and Gladys Fox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Scott Fox and two sisters: Gloria Shull and Betty Blackwell.
Donnie retired from DuPont in Waynesboro after 34 years of service and enjoyed many years of farming and raising cattle.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alice Jarvis Fox; four daughters: Joanne and Danny Groah, Debbie and David Brown, Patricia and Mike Jennings, and Stephanie and Russ Clark; seven much-loved grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Pastor Luther Witt and Rev. Carl Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Timber Ridge ARP Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
