Mansfield News Journal, Friday, Sept. 28 1945, page 9 -- Sherman Au, age 87, of 190 Park Avenue West, retired Mansfield grocer, died General Hospital Thursday [Sept. 27, 1945] at noon. Born Springfield Township near Ontario July 19, 1858. In grocery business 42 years, retired about 15 years ago. Member Central Methodist Church, Mansfield Lodge No. 35 F. and A.M. for 19 years. Survived by son Dale C. Au; brother Abraham H. Au; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. (Received from Robert Malone, a Findagrave.com volunteer)

Sherman and Mossie were married January 13, 1881.
