"I believe this to be the memorial of James Anglemyer who was born in Ohio in 1832. He was the oldest son of William and Johana Hilborn Anglemyer and was married to Sarah Bowers in Henry Ohio on September 20, 1855. They had seven children; six were boys. Sometime between 1870 and 1880 they moved to Joplin Missouri. The last time James appeared in the census records was in 1880. The first Joplin Missouri City Directory I find is 1902 and Sara is listed as his widow both records."
