Dennis Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Ill. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born April 19, 1918, in Beecher, Ill., she died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Arlington Heights. She was the beloved wife for 65 years of Marvin W. Brands; devoted mother of Marian (Donald) Meinheit, Edward (Patricia) Brands and Donald (Candace) Brands; loving grandmother of Janet Meinheit, Lara (Phil) Miller, Steven (Andrea) Brands and Laura Brands; and fond great-grandmother of Amanda Meinheit, and Sophie, Grant and Greta Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louisa Wolkow Heldt; and sisters, Marie and Selma Heldt.
