The daughter of Leonard B. and Sarah Ann Nelson Latcham, she was born near Ewart Nov. 2, 1886. She attended rural schools near her family farm home and later was married to Lee Albright on May 1, 1906, in Newton.
The couple had eight children: Mrs. W.B. (Annabelle) Higgason of West Bend; Charles Albright, also of West Bend; Bernard Albright of El Cajon, Calif.; Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Sielaff of Alden; and four sons now deceased, Raymond, Robert, Pirlee and Paul Albright.
Mr. and Mrs. Albright had lived in the Grinnell area early in their married life and later lived it the Eldora community. Following her husband's death on April 23, 1962, she made her home at West Bend to be near her children.
She is survived by her two sons and two daughters, 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her four sons; three brothers, Howard M., Clark and Paul; and one sister, Mrs. Olivia Souter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Albright were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 4) at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. H.I. Surls of Iowa Falls officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Willard Heffner and Jerry R. Lee. Pallbearers were Lyle John Latcham, Gary Albright, Paul Albright, Robert Albright, William Albright and Vern Stevens. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.
