Chico Record, Wednesday Morning, May 28, 1919, pg 4 col 4: Mrs. Adeline Brown [sic: Dineen] Dies At Paradise. Mrs. Adeline Brown of Paradise, formerly of Chico, died yesterday morning at her home in Paradise after a lingering illness of two years.
Mrs. Brown was born December 12, 1869, in Newark, N.J. She lived in Chico for many years before going to Paradise. Survivors are her widower, W.D. Dineen, an employee of the southern Pacific, and three sons, John Dineen of Stockton and William and Charles Dineen of Paradise.
Funeral services will be held at the Paradise Church, Rev. Whitaker officiating, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
