Josephine M. Grimaldi of Saginaw, Michigan, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Thomas and Mary A. (Zingale) Tutera, Josephine was born October 18, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Samuel J. Grimaldi, her loving husband of 61 years, on August 19, 1950. He survives her. Josephine was employed by Blair Transit Company from 1944-1950 in the Accounts Receivable Department. She also was employed at a trucking company in Angola, Indiana while her husband completed his mechanical engineering degree at Trine University. Josephine was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved to cook, enjoyed classic movies and especially spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband Samuel are her loving children, Philip J.(Gail) Grimaldi, Karen A. Grimaldi; her grandchildren, Paul and Angela Grimaldi. Josephine was preceded in death by her brother, Vito Tutera. She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother always putting the needs of her family ahead of her own. Josephine will be missed by them more than words can ever say. A private Funeral Liturgy took place Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Daniel E. Roa -Fuentes officiated with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road.
