Keith Wilmont Yager, aged 87, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith, and sons, Douglas, Vincent, Michael, Dale. Surviving are children; John (Reva) Yager, Diane (Fred) Rose, Karen (Jim) Vawter, Karl (Julie) Yager, grandchildren; Steven Yager, Michael Yager, Mandy Kubik, Lindsey Kubik, Dustin Kubik, Tammy (Cory) Anthony, Kimberly (John) Gebhardt, Glenn Geirland, Eric Yager, Scott Yager, Paul Yager, Shannon Vawter, Great-grandchildren; Branden Cashman, Caleb Anthony, Seth Anthony, Brittney Dianne Harte, Adison Geirland, Lucas Yager, Ricky Yager, Mackenzie Yager, Devon Yager, and Mason Yager. Keith was an avid racetrack photographer and possibly one of the first photographers to use 35mm film. He enjoyed flying radio control airplanes and also taking short flights aboard full size airplanes he and friends would restore. He was employed with General Motors for over 30 years. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
