Helen was a seamstress at Martinsburg's Interwoven Mill while her husband served in the Navy during WWII. She also worked part-time at C.H. Mussleman Co. and Singer while raising a family of four.
Helen was a member of the Pilgrim Church in Martinsburg and helped to build the Little Falls Presbyterian Church in Falling Waters. She was an active volunteer in a number of charity organizations, including the rescue Mission.
Helen will be sadly missed by her three sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren and seven great grand-children, one brother and one sister.
