Alice Moore (Ferguson/O'Leary) was my grandmother. Her parents were William Woodward Moore and Corinne Franklin Allein (Moore). Alice was born in 1902 in Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi. She married (1) Randolph Baxtrum Ferguson (2) James Paul O'Leary. In the 1920s, Alice lived with her parents and husband in Moorhead, Sunflower County, MS. Alice and Baxtrum's only child was my mother, Eleanor Moore Ferguson (Dyas). During WWII, Alice, her mother, and her daughter came to Norfolk, Virginia and in 1947 Alice, a divorcee, married James Paul O'Leary. Alice died in 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia and is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: the Ernestine Moore deGraffenried shown as a sibling to Alice is wrong. I don't know who that person is, or how she was added to this page, or how to remove that name.
