Joe H. Nelson, 78, of 831 NW 67, an Oklahoma farmer for more than 50 years, died Saturday at University Hospital. Nelson was born in Texas and moved to Oklahoma in 1902. He was a longtime resident of Tillman County and moved to Oklahoma City 10 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Willie; four sons, Donald, Frederick; Lester, Joe, and Paul, all of OKC; and five daughters, Mrs Ima Rainey, Bethany; Mrs Goldie Cates, Ravia; Mrs Mary Burgess, Tahlequah; Mrs Geneva Whitehead, Colorado Springs, CO; and Mrs Naomi Ray, Kansas City, MO.
