Mrs. Ruby M. Gregg, 95, of Dewey, former Bartlesville resident, died at 7:40 P.M. on Wednesday at the Medicalodge in Dewey.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Gregg will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday March 26, 2012 at the Dewey Cemetery with Rev. Michael Svitak of the New Hope Indian Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mrs. Gregg was born on April 24, 1916 at Dewey to James and Ada (Lyman) Whittenburg. She grew up and received her early education at Dewey Schools. She was married to Glen Gregg on May 7, 1942 at Bartlesville. They made their home all of their married life in Bartlesville where Mrs. Gregg was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was also very proud of and dedicated to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included camping and spending time at the lake. Mrs. Gregg was a member of New Hope Indian Methodist Church at Dewey.
Mrs. Gregg is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Glenda Patton of Dewey, and Mrs. Anita McQuaig Beverly Hills, Florida, by two sons; David Glen Gregg of Crescent, Oklahoma, and Ron Gene Gregg of Dewey and by several grandchildren, and a number of great and great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James & Ada Whittenburg, and by her husband Glen Gregg in October of 1997, and by a son James Proctor in 1959.
Graveside services and interment were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory of Bartlesville.
