Wanda Faye "Mee-Mee" Roberts Goodloe, 75, of Mount Calm, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 in Waco. Funeral services will be 2 pm on Tuesday, November 8 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Dr. G. Dean Coultas officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Calm Old Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, November 7 at the funeral home.
Wanda was born May 30, 1936 in Mount Calm to Jay and Geraldine (Young) Roberts. She lived in the Mount Calm area most all of her life and graduated from Mount Calm High School in 1954. Wanda married Donald Goodloe on April 16, 1954. She was a longtime bank teller and worked at Citizens National Bank in Waco, West Bank & Trust, Mount Calm Bank and Hubbard First State Bank. After retirement, she worked part-time at Hubbard Antique Mall.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include son, Greg Goodloe and wife, Dessie of Cooper; daughter, Vicki McCoy of Hubbard; brother, Tommy Roberts and wife, Beverly of Paris; grandchildren, Heather Maddox and husband, Brian of Dawson, Brittney Coy and husband, Josh of Hubbard, Heath Goodloe of Riesel and Keeley Sulak of Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Logan Maddox and Lyndey Maddox of Dawson; several nieces and nephews, numerous friends and her loving pet, Buster.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Clark, Steven Dulock, Bill Hawkins, Jack Hawkins, Bud Snapka, Lynn Tekell and Mike Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Hawkins, Joe Frank Holder and Jimmy Sid Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to American Heart Association, 6801 Sanger Avenue, #102, Waco, TX 76710 or First United Methodist Church of Mount Calm, P.O. Box 245, Mount Calm, TX 76673.
