Secretary of Labor Union Dies Suddenly

T. J. Norman Succumbs To Dropsy And Is Found In Bed By His Family

On pushing open the door of his room yesterday morning when he failed to respond to her cheery greeting, Mrs. Adaline Norman, 312 Watson avenue, found her husband Thomas J. Norman, aged 65, dead, having succumbed to dropsy from which he had suffered intermittently for several weeks. She summoned neighbors, but a physician on arriving pronounced life extinct.
Mr. Norman was secretary of the Bartlesville BrickLayer's Union and a well known figure in organized labor circles. Besides his wife he leaves four children, a boy and three girls. Funeral services will be held tomorrow after which the body will be taken to Iowa for burial.

Former Sheriff Thomas J. Norman died at Bartlettsville, Okla., according to word received by relatives here. Dropsy was the cause. The remains will be brought here.
