On Monday, October 29, 1979, at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, V/ADM. Ray Cannon Needham, USN Ret., beloved husband of Estelle (Reid) Needham; father of Mrs. Frank Hanningan, Mrs. John Young, and Cmdr. William R. Needham, USN. Nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson also survive. Brother of Mrs. Lamar Webb.

Friends may call at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisonsin Ave. at Harrison St. NW., on Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at Ft. myer Chapel, on Thursday, November 1, at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
