The funeral of Marvin Lewis Boyd Sr., 67, of Knob Lick Road will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, Lexington.
Born July 15. 1919, in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Columbus and Leona Taylor Boyd. He was a farmer for Chandler Brothers farm and was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife. Anna Shearer Boyd; a son. Marvin Boyd Jr. of Brandenburg: two daughters, Janice Dean of Vine Grove and Wanda Pemberton of Louisville; two brothers, Arthur and Edward Boyd, both of Danville; two sisters, Marie Poynter of Lancaster and Maggie Greene of Danville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
