Married to Doris November 2, 1947. He is survived by Doris, 5 children, and several who used to call them Mom and Dad. Son, Richard Jr and his wife Linda; Daughter, Kathy and her husband Bryan; Son, Stephen and his wife Terri; Son, Virgil; and Daughter Allene and husband John. He has 9 grandkids; Amber, Emily, Virgil Jr, Lauren, Stephen, Jay, Michelle, Dennis Jr, and Angel Jean. Also many other loving family members and friends.
