Jeanette was born Dec. 28, 1917 in Superior, Wis. Her parents, Andrew and Agnes Nelson, were immigrants from Norway. After high school she attended Superior Vocational School and went on to work in the field of real estate and insurance. In 1944, she met and married Rev. Clarence Finsaas when he became the pastor of the small Lutheran church where she was the organist. They moved to Grand Rapids, Minn. and in 1961, they moved again and settled in Portland where they served God with all their hearts. Jeanette is survived by daughters, Sharon Haggstrom and Renee Komlofske, both of Oregon City, Barbara Brody of Black Butte Ranch, Roberta Laframboise of Savage, Minn.; sons, David of Brighton, Colo., Duane of Happy Valley; brother, Arnold Nelson; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
