SR. HENRIETTA BUECHE
CONCORDIA - The funeral for Sister Henrietta Bueche, 81, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia for 65 years, was Wednesday afternoon at the Nazareth Motherhouse chapel, Concordia. Burial was in Nazareth cemetery.
Sr. Henrietta, a longtime music teacher, died Sunday at St. Mary's convent, Concordia. During a teaching career, she worked in schools in Monett Mo.; Grand Island, Neb.; Gladstone, Mich.; Clyde, Park, Manhattan and Junction City. For 12 years, she taught at Salina's Sacred Heart high school and was on the Marymount college faculty for several years.
She was born May 7, 1894, at Tipton and entered the congregation of sisters on May 1, 1910.
Surviving are 2 brothers, Gregory and Narcissus, and nieces and nephews.
