Died at age 63. Son of Leander Earl Crail and Sarah Frances (Blackburn) Crail. Lee married Mary Alice Grimes 7/5/1954. Father of James Anthony, Bruce Leon, Avin Earl, Leslie Frances and Maura (Lawson). Served in the Coast Guard 1943-1946 during WWII. He lived in Hamilton Co.,IN. most of his life and worked for Delco Remy in Anderson for 40 years. He was living in Atlanta at the time of his death.

BOY SHOT BY TOWN MARSHALL
Leander Crail, 13 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leander Earl Crail of Atlanta, former residents of Prairie township, was shot by Town marshal Ernie A. Bryant of Atlanta, about 8 o'clock Thursday night, when the officer was pursuing a group of boys down an alley after they are alleged to have staged a series of Pre-Halloween pranks. The shot from a device revolver penetrated the boy's back, passed through the body and cut the end of the liver."
