Deceased Name: Hazel Scott
Hazel Scott, age 81, of Eldon, Mo., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Jefferson City, Mo.

She was born December 6, 1922 in Rocky Mount, Mo., the daughter of Simeon Burgess and Stella (Woods) Bunch. She was married on April 27, 1944 in Tuscumbia,
Mo. to Denver Scott, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1975.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, Mo., and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Eldon, Mo. She liked singing gospel and bluegrass music.
She was employed by Eager Beaver of Eldon before retirement as pie baker for several years. She did volunteer work for nursing homes in the area.

Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Hamacher & Janis Leffert , both of Tuscumbia, Mo.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; six
step great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Alline Howser of Rocky Mount, Mo., Lucille McKinney and Dorothy Burris, both of Eldon, Mo.; one brother, Rev. Virgil Bunch,
of Advance, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be held at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Mo., on Friday, March 19, from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at the First Baptist Church in Eldon, Mo., with Rev. Randall Bunch officiating. Burial will be in
Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett, Mo.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Marys Oncology Unit.
