Born in Simpsonville, Mrs. Banther was the wife of the late B.F. Banther Sr., and the daughter of the late Mr. Ulyss Parrish and the late Mrs. Carrie Montjoy Parrish, and of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Banther is survived by two daughters, Rachel Boyer of Simpsonville and Constance Williams of Simpsonville; two sons, Henry Hewitt of Simpsonville and B.F. Banther Jr. of Simpsonville; one brother, U.N. Parrish of Calif.; four sisters, Eunice Norris of Simpsonville, Evelyn Brown of Simpsonville, Betty Davis of Simpsonville and Joyce Cole of Ala.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Two sons and five sisters predeceased Fay.
A funeral service is planned on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at 11 a.m. in the Jones Chapel Simpsonville. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2006, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home Jones Chapel Simpsonville. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
