Paul L. Ault, 78, of Hughesville, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at his home.
Born Jan. 11, 1931, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late William M. Sr. and Blanche Forney Ault.
His wife of 56 years, the former Mary K. Billman, preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 2007.
Paul was a member of the Rock Run Assembly of God Church and the Quarter Century Club. He retired in 1994 from the former Sprout-Waldron's after having worked there for over 25 years. Paul was a devoted family man who also enjoyed camping, his cats and relaxing in his glider.
Surviving are three sons, Paul M. (Patricia) Ault of Loyalsock, Carl L. (Janet) Ault of Montgomery and Martin L. (Sue) Ault of Hughesville; three daughters, Anna M. Ault of Hughesville, Kathryn C. (Paul) Robbins of Unityville and Helen M. Walter of Hughesville; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara A. Ault and a brother, William M. Ault Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. James W. Bechtel officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Flowers are welcome; however, memorial contributions may also be directed to the Rock Run Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 39, Muncy Valley, PA 17758.
