Elwood C. Harris passed peacefully into eternity Aug 28, 2017. He was of the Christian faith. Born Dec. 30, 1928 to Wells and Gertrude Harris. He went to school until age of 16, then started working in timber all his life. He lived by the golden rule, "In everything do unto others as you would have them do to you." Matthew 7:12. He was married to the love of his life, Annie Garringer for 67 years. Preceding in death are his parents, wife, daughter Barbara and granddaughter Heather "Stocks. He is survived by his sister Margaret Simmons, brothers, Larry and Joe David Harris, children, Janice Staton and Woody Harris, grandchildren, Heath Stocks, Grant Staton, Maribeth Harris and Grace Staton, many dear cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank his caregiver, Belinda McEuen, and Ark. Hospice, angels of mercy. Visitation will be Thurs. 6-8 pm with Funeral service at 2pm Fri.
