HAROLD, the little two and one-half year old son of C.M. PRATHER, of Mason City, died at the home of his grandmother, MRS. R.M. GOODE of Lincoln Township, on Sunday after an illness of only a few days with pneumonia.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Woods of the Evangelical Church, were held at the home on Tuesday at 1 o'clock, and the remains were laid to rest in the Chariton Cemetery.
MR. PRATHER and family came to attend a family reunion at the home of his sister, MRS. STONEBRAKER, his father and sister, MRS BOYLAN, being here from Walla Walla, Washington, and two brothers of Kansas whom they had not seen for over twenty years, and what was to be a pleasant visit terminated very sadly and the entire community extends sympathy to the sorrowing parents.
