Son of Arthur W. Hill Sr. and Bessie (Shimer) Hill and husband of Betty (Hersh) Hill. They had 4 children: Emma Jean, Richard D., Renee and Alan. He was a 1950 graduate of Muhlenberg College and was a data processing supervisor at Bethlehem Steel for 35 years.
