ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Funeral for Georgia Bittle of Alto Pass will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Congregational Church. The Rev. Gilbert Gee will officiate.

Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass is in charge of arrangements.

Bittle, 94, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at her home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1907, at Illmo, Missouri, daughter of William and Nora Abernathy Cruse.

She and Morris Bittle were married April 13, 1931, in Marion, Illinois. He died July 24, 1972.

Bittle was a retired schoolteacher and farmer. She was a member of Congregational Church, Alto Pass Cemetery Trust Fund Committee, Alto Pass Community Friends, and Illinois Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
