Edward George Baptie, Sr
Born in Scotland and immigrated in 1858 and became a naturalized citizen. Enlisted in the US Marine Corps as a private on 18 Jul 1865 and was on board the S.S.Florida.
Both his parents were born in Scotland. In 1880 he was 31 years old, married to Jennett age 26, and had one child Edward G, age 4. They lived in Otto, McKean County, Pennsylvania. In 1910 he was listed as a widower and a lodger in what was probably the Dewey Hotel, Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma. He was listed as Sr and his son was listed as Jr living in the same residence.

NOTE: I have not found him in the 1900 or 1920 census and he died in 1927.
