John Morris first married Anna ____ before 1664. He was married second to Elizabeth Harrison on 29 Mar 1665, with whom he had his son, John Morris (1666-1749). Thirdly John Sr. married Hannah Bishop on 12 Aug 1669, with whom he had his remaining children. This information from "Genealogy of the Morris Family; Descendants of Thomas Morris of Connecticut" Comp. by Lucy Ann Carhart, 1911, page 74.
The information from p. 74 of Mrs. Carhart's 1911 Morris Family genealogy (see https://archive.org/details/genealogyofmorri00carh/page/74 ) has been shown by the prior source cited on this memorial page, Jacobus's 1917 article "Morris Families of Western Connecticut" ( https://archive.org/stream/newenglandhistor1917wate#page/4/mode/2up ) to be incorrect, in that Mrs. Carhart conflated records of two different John Morrises as pertaining to the same person. The birth date of 8 March 1646 is also an error -- John, son of Thomas Morris was *baptized* on that date at the First Church in New Haven. Lastly, none of these sources (nor any other I have seen) lists John Morris as having the middle name Henry.
