Gilbert E. Aberle, age 69, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2000, at Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. He was born on January 29, 1931, in Madison, son of the late Albert and Alida (Schultz) Aberle. Mr. Aberle was a lifelong resident of Madison who enjoyed creative writing and reading. Gilbert, with his quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He is survived by brother, Don Aberle of Chattanooga, TN; nephews, Dr. Jeffrey Aberle, Fitchburg, James (Janet) Aberle and their twin girls, Kayla and Kassidy, of Fitchburg; and sister-in-law, Helen Koppes of Fitchburg.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Steven Donnis Aberle.
Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
