Funeral services for Mrs. John Philip McRee, 81, of 3510 Ector St., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Roberts and Pipkin-Brulin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W.W. Conerly, officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. Mrs. McRee died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of nine days. A native of Brandon, Miss., she had lived in Beaumont for 45 years. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 71 and of Roberts Avenue Methodist church. She is survived by two sons, L.H. McRee of Beaumont and C.A. McRee Sr., of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. K.W. Pattillo of Beaumont; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
