Mr. Bowser was a retired mechanic for the Flushing Shirt Factory (Fechleimer's) after 31 years service and also worked in timber.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Francis (Pullin) Bowser, one son, Kenneth Carl Bowser and wife Phebe, Grantsville; one daughter Barbara Ellen Stanton and husband, Edward, Westminister, Md.; one brother, Max Bowser, Grantsville; 6 grandchildren, Brittney, Emily and Mitchell Stanton and Emma, Rachel and Evan Bowser.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
GRaveside services will be conducted at the Addison Cemetery on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Tate officiating.
