Elizabeth Lucas, 92, of Scottsbluff, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Emerald Court in Scottsbluff.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor John Adams officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory.

Elizabeth was born Oct. 6, 1919 in Green Knoll, Colo. to Jesse Purl and Leona Pearl (Moore) Honstead. She was the fifth child of nine, five brothers and three sisters. She graduated from Dighton, Kan. High School in 1937. Elizabeth received her nurses training at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan. She married Maurice Lucas April 9, 1944 at Eagle Pass, Texas to this union three children were born Wiletta, Jerry and Jay.
Elizabeth was a surgical nurse for several hospitals in Kansas and before mov-ing to Grand Forks, N.D. where she was office nurse and nutrition lab nurse from 1961-1984.
Elizabeth was a member of the Federated Church of Grand Forks and the Emmanuel Congregational Church after moving to Scottsbluff.
Survivors include her children, Wiletta (Alan) Stanlake, St. Martin, Minn., Jerald (Teri) Lucas, Scottsbluff and Jay (Judy) Lucas, Sioux Falls, S.D., 10 grandchildren, and sister, Luella Baxter, Gainesville, Mo.
Preceding Elizabeth in death was her husband and seven siblings.
