Ralph C. Blair, 73, of 1611 W. Westaire died Friday, April 2, 1999, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born Sept. 13, 1925, in Blue Mound to Jesse B. and Hazel Culbertson Blair, he married Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Guinnee Beam in August 1978 in Cross Lake, Minn. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Stuart of Englewood, Colo.; two stepsons, Denny Beam and Jim Beam, both of Dunlap; and two brothers, Hobart of Illinois and Jesse Blair of Washington, Ill.
One brother preceded him in death.
He worked in engine assembly at Caterpillar Inc. for 20 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Peoria Elks Lodge.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
