Funeral services for Jewel M. Hays, 84, of Cameron were held Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Springer officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hays died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in a Temple hospital following an illness.
She was born June 8, 1925, in Rockdale to Guy and Ruth Diver Hairston.
Mrs. Hays was a homemaker and member of Rockdale Full Gospel Church.
Survivors are her husband, three sons, a daughter, and a brother, also, 11 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and a great-greatgrandchild.
