LEESVILLE - Services for David Donald "Duck" Maroney, 58, of 623 Dixiered Road, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27 2001 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Montmorenci Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken. The Rev. Dennis Lear will officiate.
Mr. Maroney died Tuesday, July 24, 2001.
Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Jackson and V.O. Enlow Maroney. He was a brick mason.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Warren Maroney; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Robbie Martin of Aiken; brothers, J.V. Maroney of Leesville, Leroy and Rick Maroney of Saluda, Bill and Mack Maroney of Batesburg, Kenneth Maroney of Columbia, Rohn Maroney of Johnston; sisters, Carol Maroney and Veonia Cade, both of Leesville, Jean Senn of Newberry; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sister, Faye Stoudemire; brother, Lynn Maroney; son, Joshua Maroney.
