Louise was born on June 13, 1922 to Jesse Anderson Johnson and Cecil Mae Conine. She passed from this life on March 15, 2012 in Floydada.
Mrs. Barton married Alfred Barton Jr. in December 1943 in Lubbock. From this union they had two children. Alfred Kenneth "Kenny" Barton and Joanie Barton Stephens.
Louise was an avid golfer. She was a member of the Roaring Springs Ranch Ladies Golf Association for a number of years. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Louise loved to golf and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by:
One son: Kenny Barton and wife Olivia of Matador
One Daughter: Joanie Stephens and husband Roy of Matador
Four Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren
She was preceeded in death by her husband Alfred Barton Jr. and her parents.
The family asks that donations be made to Motley County Senior Citizens P. O. Box 184 Matador, Tx 79244 or to East Mound Cemetery Association.
