"Hon. R. S. Cameron, representing Grant parish, was born in Walker
county, Ga., on April 26, 1852, and was educated at Demopolis (sp?),
Ala. Mr. Cameron is a professional accountant, and has been highly
successful in his chosen calling. He is a Democrat, believing in
individualism as taught by Jefferson and as elaborated and analytically
carried to ultimate and legitimate conclusions by Henry George. Mr.
Cameron favors free trade, free land and free men. In the Convention he
was a member of the Bill of Rights, Enrollment and Internal Improvement
Committees, and did excellent work.
