Leroy Aaron was born April 4, 1927, to the late Wash and Bertha Aaron. On Sunday, March 11, 2012, Leroy departed this life. He was baptized at an early age at Hopewell Baptist Church. Leroy was a retiree of Lake Charles Stevedores.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wash and Bertha Aaron, eight brothers, three sisters, and two sons, Elder Leroy "Ricky" Aaron and Curtis James Aaron.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a lovely wife Willie D., seven daughters; Velta Emery, Patricia Williams of Baton Rouge, Joyce Aaron, Linda Aaron, Janice Aaron, Jackie Aaron, and Diane Thomas all of Lake Charles, two sons; Shawn (Mia) Gray of New Orleans and Leon Gray of Lake Charles, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
