Mrs. Stella M. Martinez, 88, a former resident of Bernalillo N.M. in her younger years and then a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 26, 2001.
She was born December 26, 1912. She is survived by her two daughers, Rose Marie Alderete of Corrales, N.M. and Alice J. Sedillo; two sons, Charlie V. Martinez and wife, Dorothy and Tom Martinez and wife Betty of Montebello, Ca.; a sister-in-law: Aniceta Martinez; niece-sister: Dolores S. Baros and husband Frank; nephew-brother: Eulogio Silva; 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Four generations survive her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleofes Martinez; parents, Rufino and Adela Martinez; son, Willie H. Martinez; daughter, Irene Alderete; a granddaughter, Amorette Alderete; a grandson, Fernando Anaya; son-in-law, John Sedillo Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Barbara V. Martinez; sisters, Fidelina Apodaca, Margaret Zamora, Bernardita Ortiz, Manuelita Mata, Adela Gallegos, Lucia Valdez and Bersabe Silva; a brother, Luis Martinez.
