The Forrest City Times' Art Souvenir-1905-Page 93:Mr.W.E.Love is originally from Loves, Mississippi, where he was a member of the firm Banks, Love & Co. He moved to St.Louis in 1892, and remained there until 1899, when he moved to Memphis, and formed the firm Wynne, Love & Co., of which Capt.J.W.Wynne, formerly of this city, is the senior member, and they have grown into one of the largest cotton-handling concerns in the whole south. They never "Buy Cotton," because long experience has taught them that they can better serve their customers by adhering strictly to the legitimate commission business.

Obit:William E. Love of Memphis, member of Wynne, Love & Co., cotton factors, and father of Mrs.Harry W. Hennigin of 337 Charles Street, died at his home in Memphis Tuesday afternoon, of injuries received in an automobile accident. Mr. Love was injured early Tuesday morning when his automobile struck a car driven by M. J. McPeake at Union Ave. and Marshall street. His injuries were not considered serious until several hours after the accident. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon. Burial in Elmwood Cem. Mr. Love is survived by his wife and nine children, Mrs. Harry W. Hennegin of Little Rock, Mrs. William Baird of Itta Bena, Miss., and Mrs. Leslie A. Thornton, Misses Dorothy and Lady Love, and W. K., Thomas, Edmund, and Arthur love, all of Memphis. Arkansas Gazette Apr.9,1915.
