Mrs. Emma Pfost Claimed by Death
Mrs. Emma Pfost, 77, of 1405 Lincoln street, a native of Illinois and a resident of Bakersfield for the past 37 years, passed away at her home yesterday. She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. Pfost; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Wesson, Tupman, and Mrs. Tessie Brunk, Los Angeles, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Payne & Son chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Reverend Grover Ralston officiating. Mrs. Pauline Willis will be vocal soloist, accompanied by Miss Florence Bayless at the organ. Interment will be in the family plot at Union Cemetery.

Pfost--Funeral services, for Mrs. Emma Pfost, 77, of 1405 Lincoln street, were conducted at Payne & Son chapel yesterday afternoon, the Reverend Grover Ralston officiating. Mrs. Pauline Willis was vocal soloist, accompanied by Miss Florence Bayless at the organ. Interment was in the family plot at Union Cemetery.
